Ecartis has a public CVS repository. To access it: cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.ecartis.org:/usr/cvsroot login And provide 'guest' as the password. Then do: cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.ecartis.org:/usr/cvsroot checkout ecartis Then, from within that directory, you can do 'cvs update -d' to get the latest build of Ecartis at any time. While we like CVS, however, realize the Ecartis developers are not here to teach you to use it. If you want to learn more about CVS, go visit the CVS home page at: http://www.cvshome.org/ CVS is available for most operating systems, including most UNIX flavors, Windows, and Macintosh. It is also available as source code. As long as you have CVS 1.10 or higher, and pserver support, you should be able to access Ecartis' archive. THE EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE IS CVS 1.10.2; for some bizarre reason, CVS 1.10.2 seems unable/unwilling to communicate with a CVS pserver of any other version. Earlier CVS versions (1.9.x) and later CVS versions (1.10.3, 1.10.4) have been able to connect to the Ecartis CVS repository without trouble. If you want to get updates when CVS commits are made, send e-mail to ecartis@ecartis.org with 'subscribe ecartis-cvs'. Then you will receive notices whenever Ecartis' CVS is updated, automatically. These updates contain a log notice on what was updated, and a list of the files updated. If you want to help with development and get CVS write access, contact Rachel Blackman <sparks@noderunner.net>. Thanks!
